The Last Supper...Friends Close, Enemies Closer....

A tale of both deceit and greed, iconic through many representations the last supper is shrouded in many a different topic of controversy since as long as can be remembered. Should i have darkened the event further by glazing with a black mass indicating possible true emotions held? 12 disiples are present yet which of these really appear relevent to the current situation.....i only see one. His name, Judas Iscariot. It was Greed which possessed this man leading to the death of another, therefore i have chosen for him to pay for his sins through highlighting his hidden nature within my work. Experimentation with colour, tone, and texture led to my final outcome a gothic approach for a powerful tale.
